Israel Arrests Settler on Charge of Spying for Iran
TEL AVIV (Dispatches) -- Israeli forces say they have arrested a settler from the occupied city of Al-Quds on charges of espionage for Iran and being involved in a plot to carry out an attack in the occupied territories.
In a joint statement on Tuesday, the Shin Bet and police said the 23-year-old Israeli settler was arrested in November on suspicion of being in contact with Iranian intelligence forces to commit “security offenses” in return for payment.
