TEHRAN – Sanat Mes of Iran have defeated Al Duhail of Qatar 27-26 at the 27th Asian Men’s Club League Handball Championship.
Mes will play Group A’s third-place team on Tuesday.
Sanat Mes had lost to Khaleej Club of Saudi Arabia 31-22 in Group B in its opening match and defeated Oman’s Ahli Sidab 33-19 and Kuwaiti club Kazma 26-20 in the second match.
The event is taking place from November 11 to 22 and serves as a qualifier for the 2025 IHF Super Globe.
Khaleej Club entered the tournament as the defending champion, having secured its first title in the 2023 edition held in Sabah Al-Salem, Kuwait.
