Ghalibaf ‘Echoes Voice of Lebanon’ in Geneva
GENEVA (Dispatches) -- Parliament speaker Muhammad Bagher Ghalibaf said Monday he is echoing the voice of the oppressed but strong people of Lebanon in these hard times.
Addressing the 149th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly here, he said the Lebanese people expect cowardly sorties by U.S.-made warplanes at any moment but they do not hesitate to defeat the “biggest enemy of humanity.” The Lebanese, he said, are waiting for our practical measures to help the displaced and establish a sustainable ceasefire that will contain anti-human brutalities of the criminal Israeli regime.
