Zionists Return Body of Egyptian Guard Suspected of Killing 3 Troops
AL-QUDS (Anadolu) – The
Zionist regime on Monday handed over the body of an Egyptian border guard suspected of killing three Zionist troops last week.
Israeli i24 News television channel reported the news without providing any further details.
There was no confirmation yet from Egypt of the report.
Israeli public broadcaster KAN, meanwhile, identified the Egyptian guard as Mohamed Salah, 22, from Cairo and shared his photo.
On Saturday, the Zionist regime’s army said two troops were killed at a military post near border with Egypt. A third was killed during a manhunt.
The Egyptian army, for its part, said a guard was killed after crossing the fence while chasing drug smugglers. But the Zionist army said the attacker was an Egyptian officer, saying “troops and commanders engaged and shot and killed him.”
