TEHRAN – Iranian Kurash fighter, Muhammad Muhammadi snatched a gold medal in the Asian Kurash Championships.
The 12th Kurash Asian Championships started on Friday and was hosted by Hangzhou, China.
After taking a break in the first round, Muhammad Muhammadi Brimanlou, the Iranian Kurash fighter in the minus 81 kg weight, faced Gurbanov from Turkmenistan in the second round and while winning against the athlete, he went to the semi-final stage.
In the semi-final stage, he defeated Bekadil Shimerdanov from Kazakhstan, and in the 81-kg finals of the 12th Kurash Tournament snatched a gold medal in the Asian Kurash Championships.
