Iran’s Right Triumpant Over US Might

“How many a small party has overcome a larger party by Allah’s will! And Allah is with the patient.” (Holy Qur’an 2:249)
Here, God Almighty refers to the teen-aged David’s slaying of the armour-clad Goliath with a single shot of a small stone placed in a sling that pierced the adversary’s forehead and brought victory for the monotheists.
The point to note is that David wasn’t an Israelite in the present sense of the term, let alone a Zionist, although he was a descendant of Prophet Jacob (AS) who was the first one to be called ‘Israel’ or God-contented in the Semitic language for his uprightness and firm opposition to racism, terrorism, and all vices, even if these negative traits were found in his family members.
David was a prophet of God and subsequently granted power to rule over the monotheist people of his times, and thus a true Muslim or the one who submits only to God Almighty and Divine Commandments.
History is replete with numerous instances of a few but determined people defeating large numbers of well-organized and better equipped forces.
For example, in the Battle of Badr, the first military encounter imposed upon Muslims by the pagan Arabs of Mecca – incidentally in the fasting month of Ramadhan – the 313 poorly armed followers assembled by Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and led by the two bravest of men of their times, Imam Ali (AS) and his uncle Hamza (AS), inflicted a shattering defeat on a thousand-strong force of fully armed infidels.
Thereafter, in the subsequent battles launched by large armies of pagan Arabs, at times allied with the ever-scheming Israelites, in a bid to kill the Prophet and wipe out Islam, the Muslims were ever triumphant until achieving the final victory over disbelief – first in the Battle of Khaybar against the fully-fortified progenitors of modern day Zionists and then over Arab infidels in the peaceful surrender of Mecca.
In our own times, the Islamic Republic of Iran has time and again proven its faith in God and its adherence to the right path by shattering the might of its archenemy, the US, in every encounter – ranging from military and diplomacy to science and technology, and from economic terrorism to subversion through bands of traitors and terrorists.
This is what the Leader of the Islamic Revolution meant in his speech last Sunday when he said with full confidence and complete trust in God Almighty:
“The enemy can be defeated despite its seemingly solid calculations and military power.”
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, however, cautioned Iran’s dedicated, pious and patriotic people of all strata of society that “at no stage should we be negligent of the enemy’s tricks and plots.”
For the skeptics, the past 44 years of progress of Iran in all spheres including influence in the region and beyond where the US and its mercenaries, especially the illegal Zionist entity, have suffered blow after blow – of course, we have given martyrs to the cause of righteousness – should remove any doubts in this regard.
This is firm indication of the triumph of right over might.
The Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), had rightly remarked: “The US cannot do a damn thing.”
