TEHRAN – The foreign minister of Iran has praised the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for supporting the Palestinian cause.
In a meeting with Mauritania’s Minister of Islamic Affairs Dah Ould Sidi Ould Amar Taleb here, Hussein Amir-Abdollahian congratulated the African country’s government and people on the holy month of Ramadan.
Amir-Abdollahian also thanked Mauritania for participating in the International Exhibition of the Holy Qur’an in Iran.
He wxtended warm greetings on behalf of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani.
The Iranian foreign minister further hailed Mauritania’s government and people for their support for the Palestinian cause.
