TEHRAN – Iranian men’s national deaf freestyle team finished second place at the 2023 Asia and Oceania Athletic Competitions in Bishkek with 9 colorful medals.
Iranian athletes won 2 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals in the Bishkek in 2023 Asia and Oceania Deaf Freestyle Competitions.
Hussein Nouri and Erfan Sattari won Iran’s gold medals, and Afshin Zeinabi, Mohammad Mehdi Soroush, and Hamidreza Kanaani got the games’ silver medals. Muhammad Zarei, Muhammad Rasoul Ghamarpour, Hussein Drekvand, and Hassan Modanlou won a bronze medal.
The national Iran deaf freestyle team ranked second after Kazakhstan in the tournament.
Earlier, the national Iran deaf Greco-Roman team gained 2 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals ranking third after Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
