IME Weekly Trade Reaches $757mn
TEHRAN – The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Sunday reported that over 2,420,018 tonnes of commodities with a total trading value of $757 million were traded on its physical market in the last week.
The IME’s report added that on its metals and minerals trading floor, over 2,041,442 tonnes of commodities including 1,002,530 tonnes of cement, 585,000 tonnes of iron ore, 399,552 tonnes of steel, 38,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 10,190 tonnes of aluminum, 6,120 tonnes of copper, 1,100 tonnes of zinc and 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate with total value of $527 million were traded in the last week.
It also said, over 373,730 tonnes of oil and petrochemical commodities including 102,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 101,837 tonnes of polymeric products, 67,905 tonnes of bitumen, 51,000 tonnes of lube cut, 36,920 tonnes of chemicals, 11,020 tonnes of sulfur, 3,070 tonnes of base oil, 500 tonnes of petroleum products and 190 tonnes of feedstocks with total value of $224 million were traded on its trading halls.
Commodities traded on this floor included The IME also traded within the same week 4,845 tonnes of commodities on its side market.
