9th European Qur’an Competition to Be Held in March
TEHRAN – The ninth edition of the European Qur’an competition is slated to be held in March 2023.
The competition is annually organized by the Germany Dar-ol- Qur’an, affiliated with the Islamic Center Hamburg.
According to the initial announcement, the contest will be held on March 10-12.
Further details about the categories of the competition and the links for registration are set to be announced by the organizers.
The final of the eighth edition of the event was held in late April 2022 and winners received their awards in early May.
The preliminary stage of the last edition was held virtually with finals being held in person at the Islamic Center Hamburg.
Quran recitation, Tarteel, memorization, Qur’an interpretation and concepts, Adhan, and Tawasheeh were the categories of the event.
Muslims from all Islamic schools of thought who reside in European countries can take part in the competition.
The annual competition is aimed at promoting the Qur’anic culture and teachings, identifying and nurturing Qur’anic talents, and enhancing unity in the Qur’anic community of Europe.
