TEHRAN – Iran on Monday lambasted the U.S. Congress for supporting the recent riots in Iran, saying Americans “never want to accept the realities” of the country and wish them to be as they like.

“While the U.S. intelligence and security services say Iran left behind the unrest and their support for Iran riots was futile, U.S. congressmen voted for a resolution supporting riots in Iran!,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani wrote. “They never want to accept the realities on Iran, but like the realities to be as they wish.”
