TEHRAN – The foreign ministers of Iran and Belgium in a telephone conversation hoped for the expansion of relations between the two countries.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian and his Belgian counterpart Hadja Lahbib discussed issues of mutual interest in the phone call. They expressed hope that the bilateral ties between Tehran and Brussels would develop in light of joint efforts and cooperation. They also discussed the latest state of consular cooperation between Iran and Belgium.
