CEO Calls on Petrochemical Investors to Tap Domestic Capabilities
TEHRAN -- The CEO of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Morteza Shahmirzaei has addressed the executives and investors of petrochemical projects, and said: “Try to use the abilities, knowledge and capacities of domestic companies more than before.”
Shahmirzaei emphasized the need to trust the capacities available inside the country to provide technical know-how, goods and equipment for the petrochemical industry, and stated: “Petrochemical Research and Technology Company (PRTC) is ready to provide technical know-how and catalysts needed in petrochemical projects and fortunately there are capable companies to provide for other needs.”
He added: “Completing the value chain and reducing crude sales as a strategy is of special interest to the government, and we must take steps with the aim of creating more value added for the production of final and diverse petrochemical products.”
The NPC CEO continued: “The will and ability of those involved in the Iranian petrochemical industry have facilitated completion of the development plans with perseverance and seriousness, and for this purpose, all the departments of NPC are ready for any cooperation and support for these projects to solve the potential problems and challenges in the way of full exploitation.”
