“A little knowledge is a dangerous knowledge,” goes a famous saying.

What, if a heavy responsibility, whether political leadership or religious authority, is thrust upon a person devoid of administrative capabilities or not fully versed in the tenets of a creed whose followers he claims to lead?

It will be disaster on a big scale. If pertaining to political matters a life of instability and misery. If the fundamentals of faith were tampered, unending torment in afterlife.

The other day, Argentine citizen of Italian ethnicity, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who as head of the catholic sect of Christianity, styles himself Pope Francis, earned the displeasure of Jesus and the wrath of God, when he violated the message of the Bible by denouncing the death penalty for some brutal killers who deliberately shed the innocent blood of several Iranians.

Irrespective of his unawareness of the Islamic verdict: “there is life for you in retribution, O you who possess intellects!” (Holy Qur’an 2:179) in order to ensure safety of the rest of the society by handing the just punishment to the killer, he showed his gross ignorance of the Christian scriptures.

It seems the Pope has not properly read the Gospel of St. Matthew, which justifies the death penalty for a wilful killer, and explicitly says “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.”(5:38-39).

He also ignored the version of the New Testament to the Romans – his predecessors – where it is clear in Chapter 13 that the purpose of establishing the just government is to be “an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.”

Does not the Leader of the Catholic sect of Christianity know that the concept of capital punishment was established in the Book of Genesis of the Old Testament (9:6), which says: “Whoever sheds the blood of a man by man shall his blood be shed?” 

Mr. Francis, do not distort your own religion by pandering to the irreligious policies of the devilish politicians of the US and Europe who have always been against social justice and humanitarian values through their shameless support for criminals, thugs, traitors, terrorists, arsonists, murderers, blasphemers and women of lose morals.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, which unlike the Zionists the open slanderers of Jesus and the Virgin Mary (peace upon them) – considers veneration for these spotlessly pure son and mother as an article of faith, thoroughly probes all criminal cases on the basis of the principles of mercy and forgiveness, before handing the deserving punishment to the convicts.

If you are willing, our learned judiciary officials and ulema are ready to enlighten you on many facts, including sins which Christianity considers are punishable by death such as homicide, striking one’s parents, kidnapping, cursing one’s parents, witchcraft and divination, bestiality, worshiping other gods, violating the Sabbath, child sacrifice, adultery, incest, and homosexual intercourse.

Therefore, in eagerness for applause from agnostics and apostates, stop misleading your flock, including womankind, whose virtuous members are highly respected by both Islam and Christianity, which advocate wimple, veil, headscarf, chador, abaya, and modest clothing in public in order to ensure their freedom, while deploring the satanic behaviour of the characterless daughters of Eve.
