Top Diplomats Discuss Promotion of Iran-Poland Ties
TEHRAN – The foreign ministers of Iran and Poland weighed plans for the expansion of relations between the two countries.
In a telephone conversation on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian and his Polish counterpart Zbigniew Rau talked about the relations between Tehran and Warsaw, consular issues, and a series of international developments.
Hailing the good relations between the two countries, the foreign ministers discussed the latest developments in the bilateral ties and the holding of a joint commission.
Rau pointed to the historical relations between Poland and Iran, stressing that his country considers the ties with Tehran as important.
Describing Iran as Poland’s significant partner in the region, Rau also expressed hope that the sanctions removal talks would yield results.
