TEHRAN -- A senior Iranian envoy on Saturday slammed the Security Council’s silence on the occupying regime of Israel’s brazen violation of all UN resolutions, saying the inaction emboldens the “despicable” Tel Aviv regime to continue committing atrocities against Palestinians. “Due to the Security Council’s silence, all UN resolutions from the past several decades have remained on paper only while we continue to witness more atrocities committed against Palestinians by such a despicable regime,” Amir Saied Iravani told a UN Security Council meeting on Palestine.
