Iranian Radars Can Jam Planes 400 km Off
TEHRAN – An Iranian deputy defense minister on Sunday highlighted the country’s great progress in the air defense industry, saying the military forces have jammed a hostile reconnaissance aircraft at a distance of 400 kilometers.
Afshin Naderi Sharif, the Iranian defense minister’s deputy for industrial and research affairs, said local air defense forces have made such significant progress in recent years that a hostile aerial object cannot easily enter the country’s airspace without being detected.
