MANAMA – Iranian weightlifter Elham Hosseini claimed three gold medals in the Women’s 81kg weight class of the 2022 Asian Weightlifting Championships.

Chatraei Bags Bronze

Iran’s Masoud Chatraei has seized a bronze medal at the event.
He won the bronze medal with a total of 358kg in the men’s 89kg.
Zarei lifted 162kg in the snatch and 198kg in clean and jerk to finish third in the class.
Assylzhan Bektay of Kazakhstan (165-197-362) claimed the gold medal and Kyrgyzstan’s Emil Moldodosov (166-195-361) grabbed the silver.
The 2022 Asian Weightlifting Championships are being held in Manama, Bahrain from October 6 to 16.
