Iran’s ‘Until Tomorrow’ Competes at Qatari Event

TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iranian feature ‘Until Tomorrow’ is being screened at the Ajyal Film Festival in Qatar.
Directed by Ali Asgari, the film will is vying at the event currently underway in Doha.
Produced by filmmaker/actress Niki Karimi ‘Until Tomorrow’ marked its world premiere at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in Germany.
It has also gone on screen at some global events, including the International Istanbul Film Festival in Turkey and the Ulju Mountain Film Festival in South Korea.
“Student Fereshteh has to hide her illegitimate baby for one night from her parents who turn up for a surprise visit. Her friend Atefeh helps her. They embark on an odyssey through Tehran during which they must carefully weigh up who their allies are,” a synopsis for the film reads.
The cast list includes Sadaf Asgari, Ghazal Shojaee, Babak Karimi, Amir-Reza Ranjbaran, Nahal Dashti, and Mohammad Heidari.
The Doha Film Institute presents the 2022 Special Edition of the Ajyal Film Festival from 1–8 October. This year’s screenings is exclusively for our Ajyal Jurors.
