FM Warns IAEA Board Against Anti-Iran Statement
TEHRAN -- Iran’s Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian said Wednesday any “unconstructive statement” by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors will be “futile”.
His warning during a telephone conversation with his Omani counterpart Sayyid Badr al-Busaidi came as the IAEA board met for a meeting. Amir-Abdollahian stressed that any possible statement against Tehran at the IAEA’s 35-nation Board of Governments will be “unconstructive” and “unproductive.”
