Iran to Export $2.5bn CNG Technical, Engineering Services to Nigeria
TEHRAN - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tavana Company and a member of the CNG Trade Union of Iran Mahmoud Ghasemi on Wednesday announced the export of 2.5 billion dollars of CNG technical and engineering services to Nigeria in the near future.
Ghasemi told reporters that according to the memorandum of understanding between Iran and Nigeria, it is planned to sign a contract for turning one million cars CNG-run and build 500 CNG filling stations in three Nigerian cities with a total value of $2.5 billion.
He added: “Next week, a business delegation consisting of technical and engineering groups will be sent for negotiations with the Nigerian Ministry of Petroleum Resources to complete the preparations for signing the final contract, which seems to be the provision of CNG services to the country.
