Nuclear Trap

VATAN EMROOZ: At a time when Iran and world powers are yet to agree upon the details of a comprehensive nuclear deal, any political deal over general issues is simply a trap. If they agree on general issues they should also agree on its details. Apparently, the Americans are trying to create a situation in which it will be very difficult if not impossible for Iran to negotiate on the details and be forced to give incentives – something that the Americans so desperately want.  There is no need for such games if all sides are looking for a fair deal. In the absence of an agreement over the details, any political deal will only serve the American interests.

 Syria Blowback

SIASAT ROOZ: America is the one that waged an unjustified war against Syria and it should be held to account for the recent murder of the Jordanian pilot. He was killed by those regimes that recruited, trained, armed and dispatched terrorist goons to Syria: Israel, the US and their regional allies. The invasion took place with the help of foreign-backed terrorist groups, with NATO supporting them with firepower know-how, satellites and drones. The Jordanian people are aware of such double standards and that explains why they are seeking to retaliate by joining ranks with the Syrian army and the resistance against the foreign-backed terrorists.

 Israeli Myth

QODS: Israel is no longer able to stand against Hezbollah for the simple fact that things have changed in favor of the resistance. A new conflict risks further imperiling Israel’s increasingly contentious relationship with the United States. The Obama administration is in the midst of sensitive nuclear talks with Iran, and those talks could be derailed by a resumption of major hostilities in South Lebanon. After the disastrous war on Gaza last summer, Israel cannot afford another humiliation.

 Non-Negotiable Program

IRAN: The defensive nature of its military capabilities points to the fact that it does not seek military roles beyond its means. The country simply pursues military deterrence against Israel. As maintained by Foreign Minister Muhammad Javad Zarif and commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps’ Aerospace Force, Brig. Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the missile program is non-negotiable. It is never going to be part of the ongoing nuclear talks with the West.
