IOEC Completes 1st Stage of South Pars Phase 16 Pipe Laying
TEHRAN - Specialists of the Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) successfully has completed the shore pull operation of the new 32-inch pipeline of phase 16 of South Pars gas field.
The shore pull operation of the new 32-inch pipeline of phase 16 of South Pars was carried out by the IOEC experts, during three days of round-the-clock operation, and the offshore pipeline was carried out at the designated point in Asalouyeh, southern Iran.
The new 32-inch phase 16 South Pars pipeline is a 110.5 km long offshore pipeline that will be installed between the south coast of the phase 16-15 refinery in Asalouyeh and the phase 16 platform in the South Pars gas field.
This pipeline is designed to transmit South Pars sour gas and guarantees the stable daily transfer of one billion cubic feet of gas from the South Pars gas field and will ensure stable production in the SPD16 platform.
