Iran FM Rejects U.S. Claims on Drones for Russia
TEHRAN -- Iran says the United States is pursuing “specific political goals” by claiming that Tehran plans to supply hundreds of drones with combat weapon capabilities to Russia.
In a phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba, Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian dismissed recent accusations leveled by the U.S. national security adviser against Tehran. The Iranian minister said such claims – coinciding with President Joe Biden’s visit to the occupied Palestinian territories – are in line with certain political objectives followed by the U.S.
