TEHRAN -- President Ebrahim Raisi says the West’s continued accusations against Iran during the latest talks to remove sanctions on Tehran showed they are trying to abuse “the negotiation process towards realizing their political goals”.
“The West’s accusation campaign against Iran amid the talks bespeaks their non-commitment to the requirements of serious and real negotiation,” he told Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in a phone conversation. Raisi said a sustainable agreement requires removal of oppressive and illegal sanctions and unconditional abandonment of baseless and unfounded accusations.
