Spain Hosts Iranian ‘Gold Wells’

ranian short flick ‘Gold Wells’ has found its way to the Islantilla Cineforum filmfest ‘Festival Internacional de Cine bajo la luna’ in Spain.
The 14-minute flick, directed by Saeed Timar, will be screened at the Short Films competition program of the 15th edition of the event on July 21.
A brief synopsis for ‘Gold Wells’ reads, “Asma conspires to save her sister, Azra, from a forced marriage”.
Sepideh Mousavi, Tayyebeh Zandesh, Mohammad Salamati and Saeed Movahhedi are the cast members of the short film.
The Islantilla Cinefórum is a hub for film-lovers, inviting them to enjoy the most avant-garde audiovisual proposals in the best of settings on the beach.
It is an initiative promoted by the Mancomunidad de Islantilla in collaboration with various public and private entities.
Activities of the Islantilla Cinefórum take place during July and August to enjoy the night and the projections under the moonlight.
The 2022 edition of the Islantilla Cinefórum, also set to host Iran’s ‘A Winner’ directed by Mehdi Mahaee and ‘The Recess’ by Navid Nikkhah-Azad, will be held in July and August 2022.
