IRGC Navy Chief Warns Against Zionists in Persian Gulf

TEHRAN -- The commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy on Saturday warned neighboring countries against welcoming Zionists to the Persian Gulf, saying it would bring nothing but chaos and instability to the region.
In a visit to the Persian Gulf island of Greater Tunb, Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri hailed the Persian Gulf’s “good security,” which he attributed to cooperation and synergy with neighboring countries.
However, he said, if a country allows the miserable child-killer regime in Tel Aviv to establish a foothold in this region, that country and the entire region will be inflicted with insecurity, chaos, and instability.
“We advise our friendly and brotherly [neighbors] in the Persian Gulf not to establish relations with the Zionist regime, because by doing so, they will undermine the security of the region,” he stated.
The warning came two days after Zionist PM Naftali Bennett visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE), marking his second official trip to the Persian Gulf country since the two sides formally normalized their relations in 2020.
Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan were other Arab countries that normalized their ties with the occupying regime of Israel, all under the so-called Abraham Accords pushed by then U.S. president Donald Trump.
To the Palestinians, the normalization deals have been a “stab in the back” and an increasing level of apathy among Muslim-majority countries toward the Palestinian people’s sufferings caused by Israeli atrocities.
Recent reports suggest that Saudi Arabia is also moving in the same direction, even though the kingdom has so far refrained from officially normalizing with the occupying regime of Israel due to domestic considerations.
Iran has for long championed the rights of Palestinians, warned against the Zionist regime’s presence in the Persian Gulf, and censured normalization schemes, all while remaining open to talks with the Arab countries.
On Wednesday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei warned those states against normalizing with Israel and predicted that they will end up being exploited by the occupying regime.
“The Arab and non-Arab governments that moved toward normalizing their relations with the Zionist regime, against the will of their nations and for the will of the United States, must know that these interactions will bring them nothing but exploitation at the hands of the Zionist regime,” the Leader said.
Ayatollah Khamenei also said the Zionists are an immediate and obvious plague spreading throughout the Muslim world.
