TEHRAN (IP) - The Third International Meeting of Mahdism Activists in International Areas is underway in Tehran, chaired by the interim Friday Prayers Leader of Tehran Hojjatoleslam Seddighi.
Iran Press/ Iran News: Mahdism in Shia Islam is derived from the belief in the reappearance of the Twelfth Shiite Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi, as the Savior of the apocalypse for the salvation of human beings and the establishment of peace and justice.
Faith in the eventual reappearance of the Savior of the World, Hazrat Mahdi AJ, is an integral part of the faith.
The meeting encompasses the Resistance Axis’ countries, experts in seminaries, universities, religious delegations and mosques, and Mahdism institutes for children and teenagers.
The Speaker of Iran’s Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Secretary-General of Iraq’s Ahd Allah Movement Hashem al-Haidari, and the head of the Mahdism Faction of Iran’s Parliament Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi, as well as other foreign guests of the meeting.
The meeting aimed to promote Mahdism discourse among the people, identify top Mahdism ideas and elevate them to an international level, nurture talents in Mahdism, and make the Mahdism institutes programs aligned with the Islamic Revolution’s Second Step that the leader of the Islamic Revolution issued.
