TEHRAN -- ‘Burial’, a feature film by Muhammad Tanabandeh, will be screened at the 20th edition of the annual Ischia Film Festival (IFF) in Italy.
Tanabandeh’s first feature film as a director deals with a human and social issue from a different perspective. The flick is considered an anti-war film production.
Tehran-based Raw Company has served as the international distributor of the movie.
Among the new names in the cast list are Hussein Mehri, Toumaj Danesh Behzadi, Majid Saeedi and Ayoub Daman.
The Ischia Film Festival is an open competition for films and documentaries regardless of language: fiction, documentary, animation.
The 20th edition will start on Saturday, June 25 and end on July 2, 2022.
Iranian movie ‘Son of Man’ will also be screened at the Italian festival.
The international distribution of the social drama is owned by Silver Mountain Productions Company.
Behnam Sharafi, Leila Zare, Majid Potki, Paria Mardanian and Hadi Eftekharzadeh star before the camera at the film.
