Yocheyed in Australia; Attention to Order in Spain

TEHRAN -- Directed by
Sahar Khosh-Chashman, Iranian short film ‘Yocheyed’ will be screened at the Setting Sun Film Festival in Australia.
Peyman Moghaddami, Kiana Montajabi, Siamak Rashedi, and Mehdi Abu Hamzeh are among the cast members of the film.
The synopsis of ‘Yocheyed’ reads, “And now arise and perform the rite of clearing the sins.”
The Setting Sun Film Festival is a culturally diverse festival and the premier film festival in Melbourne’s West.
The 9th edition of the festival is slated to be held from May 5 to 12.
Iranian short film ‘Attention to Orders’ directed by Reza Zarringol will also run at the Festival de Cine de Alicante in Spain.
The film with the Spanish name “A la orden” narrates the relationship between Iran and Iraq forty years ago.
Shahram Abdoli is one of the short film’s casts who’s playing as an Iraqi soldier.
The Alicante Film Festival is recognized as a qualifying festival in the short films category by the Goya Awards. The Goya Awards are Spain’s main national film awards, considered by many in Spain, and internationally, to be the Spanish equivalent of the American Academy Awards.
The 19th edition of the festival will be held from May 21 to 28.
