Iran FM Calls on Azerbaijan to Reopen Land Border
TEHRAN – Voicing Iran’s readiness to enhance economic and energy cooperation with Azerbaijan, Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-abdollahian called for plans to increase the number of flights between the two neighbors and reopen the land border.
In a telephone conversation, Amir-Abdollahian and his Azeri counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov discussed bilateral cooperation between Tehran and Baku and the regional developments. The Iranian FM said said the ties between the two countries have now reached the stage of progress.
