Assembly of Experts Holds 2nd Biannual Meeting
TEHRAN -- Members of Iran’s Assembly of Experts on Tuesday held their second biannual meeting this year. That’s the ninth official session of the current assembly, which was elected in 2016.
Members of the Assembly of Experts convene twice a year to review the latest domestic and global developments. President Ebrahim Raisi was invited to outline his administration’s achievements and review the challenges it faces. Assembly head Ahmad Jannati urged Raisi to take practical steps to address economic problems of Iranians and improve their livelihood.
