Iranian, Chinese Officials Review Ways to Develop Tourism Ties
TEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Ali-Asghar Shalbafian and Chinese Ambassador to Tehran Chang Hua have discussed ways to widen cooperation in development of tourism.
In the meeting, tourism capacities for cooperation were elaborated, according to the Tuesday report of the public relations office of Iranian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts.
As Shalbafian stressed in the meeting, investment, education, and advertisement are main parts of Iran’s plan for having active presence in China’s market in order to develop tourism cooperation.
For his part, the ambassador said that skiing and railroad are among the issues which have attracted the Chinese to be present in Iran.
Focus on what the Chinese tourists are interested in can help attract them to Iran as an attractive tourist destination, the ambassador noted.
Iran, due to its geographical position and ancient sites, can be an attractive destination for the foreign tourists.
