WEST BANK (MEMO) – Over 1,300 Palestinians, including children, have been displaced as a result of the rapid surge in home demolitions since U.S. President Joe Biden took office, according to data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. The data is composed of each permanent closure or destruction of a residential or commercial property, or key piece of infrastructure such as water pipes, roads and network facilities. The Zionist regime’s widely practiced policy of home demolitions targeting entire families are acts of illegal collective punishment and come in direct violation of International Human Rights Law.
