TEHRAN - Arvand Petrochemical Company has unveiled decanter centrifuge of the suspension PVC unit in the presence of the Vice President for Economic affairs Mohsen Rezaei.

According to Arvand Petrochemical Company, in a ceremony to hold the third exhibition to support domestic manufacturing in the petrochemical industry on Kish Island, the steps of localization of technical savvy, design and construction of the item, which was previously owned by three countries, were elaborated by Hassan Neshanzadeh Moghaddam, the CEO of Arvand Petrochemical Company, in the presence of Mohsen Rezaei, Vice President, and Abdolali Ali Asgari, the CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC).

The equipment, which is used by petrochemical companies producing suspension PVC (SPVC) and high density polyethylene (HDPE), can make the country completely self-sufficient in the production of this type of strategic equipment and cut the dependence of the petrochemical industry in this sector on abroad.

200 data-x-Items Localized at Noori Petroch Plant

 

The head of Noori Petrochemical Complex Seyed Abdolmajid Khaksar said over 80% of the catalysts and chemicals used in the plant are supplied domestically, adding that over 200 new data-x-items have so far been localized in the facility since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

Khaksar said the company is one of the largest petro-refineries in the world that is fed by 4.5 million tons of gas condensate annually.

He stated that aromatics are one of the upstream industries in the petrochemical industry, saying: “Noori provides petrochemical feedstocks for Martyr Tondgouyan and liquid petrochemical feedstock for Jam petrochemical plants.

The head of Noori Petrochemical Complex stated that more than 80% of the catalysts and chemicals required for the complex have been internalized, noting: “We have set a goal for internalization every year and in the current calendar year, we have succeeded in internalizing 200 parts.”
