TEHRAN – Iran have won the
title of the CAFA U-19 Futsal Championship.
The Iranian team defeated Uzbekistan 7-1 and earned their fourth win in the competition, held in Kyrgyzstan.
they had earlier defeated Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in the competition.
Afghanistan’s Omid Ghanbari was named MVP player.
Iran also won the Fair Play Award.
The Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) is an association of the football playing nations in Central Asia.
