Iran’s Foreign Policy Sees No Room for Israel’s Illegal Existence

Iran, without the least doubt, is the most stable country in the region, if not in the entire Muslim World, with people’s active participation in all spheres of the society to ensure real representative rule within the framework of a superbly drawn constitution.
As a result, Iran has not spared any efforts over the past 45 years to safeguard security at home in pace with development projects that have seen the nation master almost all fields of science, technology, medicine, and artificial intelligence, to the betterment of the public despite the most criminal sanctions of the US.
At the same, the power and prestige of the Islamic Republic has rapidly grown in the region and beyond where independent countries and freedom movements have rallied around the banner of resistance raised by Iran to end western hegemony in our part of the world and to cleanse West Asia of the illegal existence of the terroristic Zionist entity.
In view of these undeniable facts, Iran’s President-Elect recently published the blueprint of the policies of his yet-to-be-finalized administration, especially regarding foreign policy.
According to Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, Iran follows balanced relations with all world countries whether of the West or the East, and will prioritize strengthening relations with its neighbours by championing the establishment of a “strong region” rather than one where a single country pursues hegemony and dominance over the others.
He went on to state: “I firmly believe that neighbouring and brotherly nations should not waste their valuable resources on erosive competitions, arms races, or the unwarranted containment of each other. Instead, we will aim to create an environment where our resources can be devoted to the progress and development of the region for the benefit of all.”
Encouraging words indeed from a person who is a cardiac surgeon by profession and is expected to unblock not only the arteries of the national economy but also to hearten Iran’s relations with its immediate neighbours in view of its strategic geo-political locations.
His friendly message to Iran’s Arab neighboure read: “We look forward to cooperating with Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iraq, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and regional organizations to deepen our economic ties, bolster trade relations, promote joint-venture investment, tackle common challenges, and move towards establishing a regional framework for dialogue, confidence building and development.”
He also emphasized further improvement in the already cordial ties with Turkiye, Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Central Asia and the Indian Subcontinent.
He deplored that the region has been plagued for too long by wars, sectarian conflicts, terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, water scarcity, refugee crises, environmental degradation, and foreign interference.
Dr. Pezeshkian said it is time to tackle these common challenges for the benefit of future generations, making it clear that “cooperation for regional development and prosperity will be the guiding principle of our foreign policy.”
The President-Elect who is well aware of the illegitimacy of the terroristic Zionist entity called Israel, said: “We must diligently work to end the prolonged occupation that has devastated the lives of four generations of Palestinians. In this context, I want to emphasize that all states have a binding duty under the 1948 Genocide Convention to take measures to prevent genocide; not to reward it through normalization of relations with the perpetrators.”
He was all praise for the young people in Western countries, especially at universities, who have recognized the validity of the Islamic Republic’s decades-long stance on the Zionist entity.
Dismissing the allegations of antisemitism against Iran for its principled stance on the Palestinian issue as not only patently false but also as an insult to Iran’s culture, beliefs, and core values, he added in his message to the American people:
“Rest assured that these accusations are as absurd as the unjust claims of antisemitism directed at you while you protest on university campuses to defend the Palestinians’ right to life.”
