The message that scores of millions of Iranian mourners, including the President-Elect, gave to the world on the occasion of Ashura, is that of equity, justice, human dignity, peace, progress and resistance against tyranny.
Dr. Massoud Pezekshian while attending a mourning ceremony took off his coat and joined the ranks of those rhythmically beating their chests in an orderly manner as expression of grief for the great sacrifice of Prophet Muhammad\s (SAWA) grandson to reform and revolutionize societies.   
Millions of people also took to the streets of neighbouring Turkiye, where President Rajab Tayyeb Erdogan cabled his condolences, as well as in some other countries, to pay tributes to the immortal mission for the betterment of mankind.
Today, the same scenario of commemoration of history’s most heartrending tragedy is being repeated in Iraq, the Subcontinent and other countries where because of a day’s difference in sighting the Muharram crescent, the 10th of this month has fallen on Wednesday.
This is proof of the fact that Imam Husain (AS) and his message of faith, freedom, humanitarian values, and refusal to bow before illegitimate power, continues to reverberate all over Planet Earth, inspiring tens of millions including the non-Muslims, for whom Gaza appears as Karbala and the perpetrators of the genocide as the Godless hordes who shed innocent blood.
In other words, if Benjamin Netanyahu and his cabinet of war criminals have taken the role of Ibn Sa’d, Shemr and Harmala, his backers in Washington directing the holocaust of the Palestinians, such as Joe Biden and his genocidal regime, are certainly incarnations of the ungodly Yazid.
The message of Imam Husain (AS) thus inspires not just the Palestinians but conscientious masses all over the world, including the people of Iran who for the past 45 years have been subjected to the terroristic sanctions of the US, to stand steadfast against injustice.
This indomitable spirit of Imam Husain’s (AS) devotees who in Iraq freed themselves from Saddam the bloodthirsty tyrant, and have transformed several other lands into bastions of resistance to end American hegemony in our region, such as Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria, is indeed an auspicious indicator of the eventual end of treasonous regimes, especially the cherished goal of weeding out of the illegitimate Zionist entity.
