Vafaei Finishes Third at World Snooker Championship
TEHRAN– The glorious Iranian snooker player, Hussein Vafaei, has won a bronze medal at the Six Red World Championship in Pathum Thani, Thailand, and stood in third place.
In a thriller in semifinals, Vafaei could not defeat Thepchaiya Un-Nooh, his rival from the host country, and stood in third place.
Vafaei was leading the game 5-2 but Un-Nooh battled back and managed to edge out Hussein Vafaei 7-6
The Six Red World Championship kicked off in Thailand on March 6 and lasted for six days.
