FM Amir-Abdollahian Leaves Tehran for Mauritania
TEHRAN – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hussein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran for the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott on Tuesday.
Heading a high-ranking delegation, Amir-Abdollahian is scheduled to hold talks with the Mauritanian authorities on issues of mutual interest.
In the visit to Nouakchott, the Iranian top diplomat plans to meet his Mauritanian counterpart Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, and Mauritania’s President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani.
Mauritania, officially called the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, is a sovereign country located in northwestern Africa.
