TEHRAN - Head of planning, control and maintenance and repair methods of Isfahan Oil Refining Company Mehdi Najmi said on Monday that the overhaul operations of three operating units of Isfahan Oil Refinery started simultaneously in order to make optimal use of time.
Najmi said: “Overhual of Distillation, Viscosity Reduction and Liquid Gas No. 2 units started on Sunday with the efforts of the company’s experts.”
Pointing to the great importance of the mentioned units, especially the distillation unit as the largest refining unit, he added: “One month of work has been planned to carry out the overhaul operations.”
The head of planning, control and maintenance and repair methods of Isfahan Refinery announced the news that this is also the first time in the history of overhaul operations in the country that operations are being monitored online, adding that it is expected that by benefiting from this method and monitoring activities, the overhaul duration will be significantly reduced.
Najmi said overhaul of the mentioned units are done once every four years, taking into account the operational conditions.
