Expectations from the New Iraqi Government

At last, a year after the elections the Iraqi parliament has finally succeeded in naming the president, who turn has a nominated the prime minister for formation of the cabinet of ministers for setting up a functioning government, which hopefully will endeavor to resolve all outstanding problems of the people, especially ridding the country of the undesirable presence of the American occupation forces.
Both President Abdul-Latif Rashid and Prime Minister Mohammed Shiya as-Sudani are seasoned diplomats, having held ministerial posts in the elected governments of post-Ba’thist Iraq, and thus familiar with the political turf where an unnecessary rivalry has delayed decisive decision-making and emboldened the US to meddle in the affairs of the country.
As per the unanimous vote of the Iraqi parliament over two years ago, US troops should leave the country, and their exit ought to be the first and foremost step expected from the new government.
The Americans are the archenemies of the Iraqi people and will resort to all devilish designs to keep them under the Yankee-Zionist thrall, even if it means civil war and fratricide.
The voices of dissent against the new government are ill-advised and will only provide Washington – the cowardly creator of the macabrely murderous takfiri terrorists and the killer of such icons of piety and patriotism, as Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis – to fan the flames of sedition in order to further ruin the country.
This means the new government should extend the hand of friendship to all Iraqis irrespective of their political affiliations, ethnicity, and religious persuasion, in order to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, which requires the immediate expulsion of the US forces as well as the terrorist outfits operating against neighbouring countries with open assistance from the Americans and the Zionists.
A strong and independent Iraq should therefore sever all ties with Washington, including economic, industrial, defence, and diplomatic, in order to end the stranglehold of US companies on the country’s oil fields and oil wealth.
The Iraqi army also doesn’t need any training from the US military personnel and should work closely with the real defenders of the country, the Hashd ash-Sha’bi or the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), who have shown their prowess and tactics against the terrorists to be far more superior to what the Americans are capable of imparting.
The friends of the Iraqi people expect Iraq to be free of all terrorists, including CENTCOM, Takfiri, Ba’thists, and Komalah.
