Iranian FM: Ties With Tanzania on Path of Progress

 
 
TEHRAN – Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian said on Saturday that Iran-Tanzania relations are on the path to progress.
Referring to his meetings in Tanzania, Amir-Abdollahian wrote on his Twitter account that everyone is working to strengthen relations between the two states. 
Following his trips to Africa, he tweeted a report of his meetings and talks with Tanzanian officials.
In Tanzania, he had constructive talks with President Samia Suluhu Hassan, as well as his counterpart, Amir-Abdollahian said.
He said managers from several ministries and the private sector accompanied him in the visit and held specialized meetings with their counterparts and officials of the countries.
Amir-Abdollahian’s first visit to African countries as Iran’s foreign minister began on Monday. He first visited Mali and Tanzania before traveling to Zanzibar late Thursday night.
