Culture Minister: Cultural Products Export Main Mission
TEHRAN (IRNA) – Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili said on Saturday that the export of cultural products is among the main missions of the cultural attachés in other countries.
The minister made the remark at the opening ceremony of the 10th summit of the Islamic Republic’s cultural attachés abroad.
The summit took place in the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization in Tehran.
Esmaili called on the Iranian cultural attachés to make efforts to increase the export of the country’s cultural and creative products.
He said that the administration of President Ebrahim Raisi has put on its agenda the expansion of cooperation with regional countries in both economic and cultural fields.
The president addressed the summit as well.
Raisi also called on the Iranian cultural attachés around the world to contribute to efforts on the country’s development in trade, economic and cultural fields, stressing that they play a key role in this regard.
The 10th summit of the Islamic Republic’s cultural attachés abroad opened on Saturday and will wrap up on July 28.
