TEHRAN – Iran’s women’s volleyball national team eased past Bulgaria U-20 volleyball team in straight sets (25-22, 25-23, 25-16) in a friendly match on Friday.
The Iranian team will play Bulgaria’s U-20 team in two more matches.
Alessandra Campedelli’s side is preparing for the 2022 Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship, which will be held in the Philippines from August 30 to September 6.
Iran is drawn in Pool A along with the Philippines, Vietnam, China, and South Korea.
Pool B consists of Japan, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Chinese Taipei, and Australia.
