Media: Huge Zionist-Saudi Arms Deal Expected During Biden’s Visit
WEST BANK (Dispatches) – The Zionist regime’s media outlets have reported that the occupying regime is seeking to strike a military deal with Saudi Arabia.
The official Israeli channel Kan reported that a huge security deal between the regime and Saudi Arabia would be announced during U.S. President Joe Biden’s visit to the region in mid-July.
The occupying regime’s air systems represent a significant deal to Saudi Arabia, Kan said.
Biden will visit the occupied territories and Saudi Arabia from July 13-16.
The potential arms deal will have a great economic impact on the occupying regime and comes in light of growing tensions, Kan added.
The Channel 12 news channel reported late last month that the regime will push the U.S. to approve the sale of a new laser air system to Arab countries including Saudi Arabia.
While Saudi Arabia and the occupying regime have no diplomatic relations, there have been numerous reports to suggest that the two are cooperating on military issues.
In December, an Israeli newspaper reported that the occupying regime rejected a proposed arms deal from the United Arab Emirates due to Abu Dhabi’s rapprochement with Iran.
The UAE and the occupying regime established ties in 2020.
