Turkish Airlines Increases Iran Flights
TABRIZ – The chief of East Azarbaijan province airports Ramin Azari said on Wednesday that Turkish Airlines has resumed Tabriz-Istanbul weekly flights, increasing scheduled flights for Nowruz holidays.
Ramin Azari, the director general of Iran’s East Azarbaijan Province airports, told IRNA that Turkish Airlines has scheduled 96 two-way flights until mid-Farvardin (April 4, 2022) in four routes: Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, and Adana.
According to the announced schedule, Azari said, 74 two-way flights are for Istanbul, 8 for Ankara, 8 for Izmir, and 6 for Adana.
He noted that Tabriz-Istanbul became the busiest international air routes among Iranian airports.
