Three Awards For ‘Far Away From Here’ in Brazil
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The 13th edition of the Brazil International Monthly Film Festival (BIMIFF) has bestowed three awards to the Iranian movie ‘Far Away from Here’.
Directed by Erfan Ehteshami and co-written by Morteza Ebadipour and Ehteshami, the movie grabbed the awards for Best Director, Best Film, and Best Actor in its second international presence at the Brazilian festival.
‘Far Away from Here’ won the awards at the October 2021 edition of the festival.
“‘Don’t work with youth, they think dessert is like their bedroom’ he says to the old man. The old villager trusts him and shows him the hill. They feel the signals of a treasure right under their foot. This is a new life with a new identity that should be found. They start digging and this is the beginning of many new incidents,” a synopsis of the film reads.
The cast list of the film includes Mohammad Goudarzi, Hossein Goudarzi-Moazzami, Hossein Khodadadi, Samad Shams, and Ida Darabifard.
According to the website of the BIMIFF, “it is an Online Competitive Film Festival created to give an opportunity to filmmakers from all around the world to showcase their projects for online audiences while interacting with professional artists and independent filmmakers!”
