TEHRAN – The Intelligence Ministry on Wednesday said its forces dismantled a terrorist team that planned to carry out subversive operations against a number of sensitive centers inside Iran.
In a statement, the ministry said the team was affiliated with the intelligence services of hostile countries, but it was detected and smashed in Iran.
The ministry said it will release more details on the operation.
In July, the Intelligence Ministry smashed a team of spies with links to the occupying regime of Israel’s Mossad spy agency that had transferred a large arms cache to the country with the purpose of provoking armed riots and carrying out terror attacks.
