Iranian Youth Cinema Presents ‘Pass’ in U.S. Event
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iranian short film ‘Pass’ is set to participate in the 2021 edition of the Lost River Fest in the United States.
The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Pass’ will be screened at the fifth edition of the American event.
Written and directed by Elika Abdollahi, the film shows that not everyone is trustworthy.
“I tried to say that not everyone is predictable, even those we have trust in,” the director has said in a statement on her film.
‘Pass’ is starring Mina Hamedani, Hesam Hosseini, Suhail Mirza, and Ebrahim Barzideh.
According to an online submission platform, the Lost River Film Fest “will spotlight independent cinema” in the upcoming edition.
“Soaked in a youthful, progressive, small-towns-of-Texas vibe, Lost River intends to prove a splendid cocktail of compelling cinema, live music, burlesque & much more.”
The upcoming edition of the Lost River Fest will take place on September 9-12.
